That trip didn’t take you far enough,
No it didn’t last long enough,
Pretty colors and brand new shapes,
Disappear through the wall,
Falling back onto your bed,
Wishing you could fall straight through,
No there’s no world where you are king,
No there’s no land where you reign supreme,
Only this dark blue room,
Decorated by your own cheap high,
Buy, Pop, Trip, Repeat,
That’s the story of your life,
Too bad it’ll be a short story,
There’s no novel for those like you,
But maybe that’s how you want it,
A boy with a tragic end.
